my Cebu getaway..

 My Cebu getaway

Day 1

Being new to this, i have my shares of traveling with the people i love and traveling alone,i've been to many place here in the philippines, and id love to share my experiences here and tell you guys my stories in my travels...first stop is the queen city of the south CEBU CITY!

before when i pack i pact the whole bedroom...but things have change now,i travel with my bag pack, i guess as time goes by i learned my lessons while i travel. Since theres no flight from roxas city to cebu i had to take the ilo-ilo to cebu route and had to wake up like 1am even though my flight was at 7am since i have to travel 3 hours or so..finally got to the airport and whew it was such a joy arriving early....
 my stuff.....
Iloilo airport is one of the cleanest airport that ive been to. its much decent and quite its still on its early years of operations...had to take pictures of the area and also myself while waiting for my flight....

left iloilo at around 7am my flight was a bit delayed and i dont mind since i got the ticket on sale thanks to CEBU PACIFIC for there super low fare....though it was a bumpy ride with some turbulence here and there but i arrived safely.
Touchdown Cebu International airport..

had to take the "welcome to Cebu tarp"-hey its my first time here...arriving at the airport i was trying to look for a jeepney but since its gonna be a heavy bag to carry i decided to find a taxi...taxi's outside the airport cost way to much compared to the one's further away from the area..dont ride the yellow taxi's waiting outside, instead try to walk across the street and climb a few steps there you'll find a white taxi which there flag downs are a bit lesser compared to the yellow one's

Fernand marcelo bridge

Had lunch at the famous CASA VERDE located #69 Lim Tian Teng St. Cebu city...this is the original birthplace since they opened another branch in IT Park, i opted to drop here nothing beats the homy feel of the place..and now the baby backs! they where HUGE!and when i say huge i mean it...the price was just P160 pesos ang it was enough to kill me....i could have died from a heart attack just by looking at it...but the taste was just right to make my heart melt and crave for it(came back the next day just to eat the ribs again..)

navigating through the streets of Cebu was not hard, or so i thought...got the map.....problem is...i can't read maps!i was a lost sheep...good thing the people of Cebu were kind enough to answer my questions, every street corner i tried to ask the locals.its was like manila traffic and one must be very cautious when crossing the streets, multicab drivers are like on adrenaline rush trying to  drag race every vehicle on the streets.i also had to go online since i was a bit disappointed of the place i stayed in, i had to find another hotel the next day.

Ayala Cebu is a large place and very clean if i say so,had to drop by to buy some foods and just enjoying the view, stop over at Starbucks for some cold drinks hence it was hot that afternoon.

Dinner time came and i had to try another Cebu hot spots called "Larsian" located at the uptown area near fuente osmena  and near the chong hua hospital, basically it's a place full of food stalls that serve a myriad of chicken intestines, livers feet, pork and a lot more..the place was spacious enough though my only problem was, there was too much smoke from all the barbecuing thats happening when i say too much it was like foggy, so for travelers who have asthama just bring your drugs. This was the first time i tried there
"PU-SO" thats what the locals call it,its a rice wrapped in coconut leaves, overall it was a unique experience and Larsian is truly one of a kind....
